What is the integration?
The humble Till and Sage One Accounting integration is a link between your humble Till store account and your Sage One account.
With your humble Till linked to your Sage One account it will simplify your accounting by syncing daily sales totals and account sales as well as payments and any stock movements from your humble Till to your Sage One accounting.This greatly reduces the need for manual data entry and will save you time and also increase accuracy.
How does it work?
The humble Till, once linked will push all yours Cash sales, Account Sales, Customer Payments, Supplier invoices, Stock Adjustments and Customers from the humble Till into Sage One.
Important: Once your humble Till and Sage One are linked you will need to treat your humble Till as the master and always make any changes or updates in the humble Till, as these will be sent to Sage One and will overwrite the details currently in Sage One.
At the end of each business day, you will need to complete a cash-up on your humble Till. With the humble Till / Sage One push integration, your Cash Sales will then be synced up to Sage One.
Sales:
All cash sale transactions completed on the humble Till will be batched into one invoice and will push through to the humble Till Cash Control Account on completion of a cash up on your humble Till, making into easier to reconcile your bank account.
Important: Please ensure that all the Sales Reps on Sage One Accounting have an email address included in their details. You can check this by simply logging into your Sage One Accounting, hover your mouse over Customers, then hover over Lists and click on List Of Sales Reps. Each of the Sales Reps listed should have an email address, if they do not, unfortunately the cash sales completed during the day will not upload successfully on completion of a cash up on your humble Till.
The Account Customer sales and Account Payments completed on your humble Till will push through to your Sage One immediately, ensuring that the customer's account are kept up to date and current. Your customer statements will now be viewed and distributed exclusively through Sage One.
Important: All tax invoices must be processed on your humble Till, any tax invoices processed on your Sage One will not reflect in your humble Till.
With the Sage One sync you are able to link more than one humble Till store to a single Sage One Company, and you will not need to have multiple sage one companies for each humble Till store.The inventory management of your store stock will be maintained and monitored on your humble Till. All your stock movements that are completed on your humble Till will be processed immediately in your humble Till and then pushed up to Sage One.
Inventory Management:
Important: Please Note: If you are linking an existing Sage One account to a new humble Till account, the on hand quantity for your items or any stock movement history will NOT be imported to your humble Till, only the items name, cost and selling price – Please contact our support team should you have any queries.
All supplier invoices and stock adjustments must be processed on your humble Till, any supplier invoices and stock adjustments processed on your Sage One will not reflect in your humble Till.
Once a supplier invoices and stock adjustments has been posted to Sage One, the items in the humble Till supplier invoices and stock adjustments become locked. Ie, if you add or remove items from the supplier invoices and stock adjustments in Sage One, these changes will not post to your humble Till.
We do recommend that the inventory management of your in-store stock should be maintained and monitored on your humble Till, this will allow you to link more than one humble Till store to a single Sage One Company, and will not need to have multiple Sage One companies for each humble Till store.
It is strongly advised that a stock take be done on your humble Till once you have linked with Sage One to adjust and update the stock on-hand quantities of your items on your humble Till. Going forward, all your stock movements that are completed on your humble Till will be processed immediately in your humble Till and then pushed up to Sage One.
You do also have the alternative of maintaining your inventory on-hand quantities on Sage One, however, all new items will have to be created on the humble Till for it to Push to Sage One and for the stock movement to be processed so as to update the on-hand quantities in Sage One.
Linking Your Humble Till and Sage One:
Important: If you have an existing Sage One Company and are linking it with a new humble Till, please make sure you have READ the Important notes above and if you have any questions, please contact our support team.
Sign into your humble Till and go to Settings> Sage One Accounting.
Click on the Button “Link Your Sage One account” and enter your Sage One access details.
If your details are correct, a notice of how it works will appear explaining the humble Sage One Push Sync. Once you have read the notice, Click Next.
Select the Sage One company that you would like to link your humble Till with. You can also choose if you would like your cash up information summarized as either: Detailed, Summary or Account.
Detailed: On completion of a cash up on your humble Till a cash up invoice for the store will be pushed to Sage One and the item quantities sold will be detailed as individual line items on the Sage One invoice.
Summary: On completion of a cash up on your humble Till a cash up invoice for the store will be pushed to Sage One and all the item quantities sold will be grouped into a single line item on the Sage One invoice.
Account: On completion of a cash up on your humble Till a cash up invoice for the store will be pushed to Sage One and to the humble Till Sales Account in your Sage One. This will not reflect individual item quantities sold.
You will also have the option of selecting if you would like to import existing Items, Customers and Suppliers currently in your Sage One Company with the humble Till.
Important: It is only on the first sync that your humble Till will import Items, Customers and Suppliers from your Sage One. Once the initial sync has been done all changes will be pushed into Sage One.
Please note that no on hand quantities for items or transactional history from your Sage One will sync with your humble Till during the initial sync, only after the humble Sage One Push has been configured will transactions processed on your humble Till be pushed to Sage One.
So for instance, if a supplier invoice has been processed in your humble Till, it will then appear in the Sage One dashboard with a state - Success - that will advise you that it has been uploaded to Sage One.
Once linked you will see the Sage One Push Dashboard which will show all the events that need to be pushed to Sage One and the state.
