What to do if your receipt Printer is not printing

What to do if your Epson TM-T20 Ethernet printer is not printing from your humble webTill

1. Check that the printer is on and plugged in to your WiFi router

2. Check that the printer has paper

3. Check your internet connection. The Ethernet printer connects to your PC over WiFi and cannot print if there is no WiFi connection. It may be necessary to re-start your WiFi router to re-establish the internet connection.

4. Check that the option for Print receipts on completion of a sale is ticked on your Till. To do this: 

  • Log in to the Till and Select Settings
  • Select General
  • Under Receipt Settings check that the box next to "Print receipts on completion of a sale" has a tick in it

5. Once you have checked all the above and your printer is still not printing, you might need to re-find the printer on the till. To do that follow these steps:

  • Log in to the Till and select Settings, then General
  • Under Printer Settings check that and IP address appears under Selected Printer
  • To re-connect, click the grey Select Printer button
  • In the pop up box that appears, click Rescan
  • Your printers IP address should appear under the Network Printers heading
  • Click Test and check that a slip with a corresponding IP address prints from your Epson Printer.
  • If a slip has printed, click Select to save the printer
  • Your Printer's IP address should now show in brackets next to TM-T20 under the Selected Printer heading
