Making a Product In-Active/ Deleting on your humble Till:

Do you have a product that has been discontinued or that you will no longer be stocking ? You can make the product in-active/ delete the product so that it no longer appears in your product list.

To ensure that the product made in-active/ deleted does not appear in the In-Stock Report or in a Stock Take, please make sure that the product is showing a zero on-hand quantity.


From the Till Tab on your humble Till, click on the Reports Tab (1).

Click on the Stock Tab (2) on the left hand side of your screen, followed by clicking on the In Stock Report (3).

Please ensure that Show Zero Quantities tick box is selected (4). Make sure that the Filter is set to Item (5)

Enter in the item description in the search bar (6) followed by clicking on Download PDF in the bottom right hand corner of your screen (7).




An In Stock report will appear in a PDF format showing you the amount of stock currently on-hand fort that product.




Once you have confirmed that the product you would like to make in-active/ delete has a zero on-hand quantity, click on the Settings Tab.

And then click on the Products Tab on the left hand side of your screen.




Type the description of the product in the Search bar at the top of your screen and then select the product by clicking on it.




To make the product in-active, click and un-tick the Active tab in the bottom left hand corner, followed by clicking on Save.




The product is now in-active/ deleted, and will no longer be available to sell or book stock in of the product.






If the product any time in the future does become available again, you can make the product active again by simply following the above steps.

If you would like to see a list of all the products on your humble Till that are in-active, click on the Settings Tab, and then Products and ensure that the Active Products Only Tab is unticked.

This will now show you the products list of your humble Till with both Active and In-Active products. Products that are In-Active will have a inactive badge on the far right of the product.
