Add a new product to your humble Till:

The steps below will detail exactly how you can create a new product on your humble Till.

From the Till Tab, navigate to and click on the Settings Tab.

2.     Click on the Products Tab and then click on Add Product in the top right hand corner of the screen.

Next you can enter in the new product details:

Code –  A unique code that differentiates between products (must be unique).

Description - The Product description or Product name.

Category – Select the Category that the product belongs too.

Unit – The unit of measure for the item i.e. ml/ kg/ Liter.

Barcodes - Input the existing barcode code, or simply add the Code if you would like to create a Barcode.

Ingredients - Enter in any ingredient products that may be used to make up this product.

Tax Rate - Select the Tax Rate, either No VAT (0%) / Zero Rated VAT (0%) or Standard VAT (14%).

Cost – Enter product cost amount of the product.

Gross Profit – Automatically populates based on the cost and selling price of the product.

Inclusive Selling Price - Enter product selling price (including VAT if applicable).

Gross Profit % - Automatically populates based on the cost and selling price of the product.

Product Type – Select either Physical or Virtual.

Active - Select if the product is active (blue tab) or not active (grey tab).

Serial Product – Mark if the product is a serialized product.

Once you have entered in all the product details, click on Save Product at the bottom of the screen.

The product will now appear in your product list.
