To complete a sale using SnapScan on your humble Till on your PC or Mac, follow the below steps:
On the Till screen of your humble Till, simply add items to the basket by scanning the barcode from the item, selecting the item from the favorites or navigate to and click on Add Product.
The chosen product will appear in the Basket for you to continue with your sale. If you need to remove an item from a sale, just click on the dustbin icon and it will be removed from the sale.
Once you have added all the products into the basket and you would like to complete the sale, navigate to and click on CheckOut, found at the bottom, right hand side of the page.
Confirm with the customer how they will be paying for the transaction and then click on Add SnapScan for all SnapScan sales.
A QR code will appear on your screen. You can show this to your customer to scan or print a Pro Forma Invoice with the QR code on the slip. The customer can scan the QR code from the receipt.
Important: In order for the SnapScan Payment to pull through to your till, please DO NOT use the generic counter top QR code provided by SnapScan. Please use the QR code on your till screen or print a Pro-Forma Invoice with the QR code from the humble Till.
The customer needs to complete the transaction using the SnapScan App on their mobile device. You will be able to continue once the payment has come through. The tender section will show a SnapScan Auth Code to verify that payment has been made.
Once the tender amount has been added, the humble till signals that you can complete the sale by changing the color of the Complete Sale button from pale green to solid green.
Once the sale has been correctly tendered out, click on Complete Sale.
You will be directed to the Transaction Complete screen where you can select options to either begin a New Sale, Email Receipt to the customer, Reprint Receipt or Lock Till.
