Enable DHCP on your Epson TM-T20 Ethernet Printer:

To get your Epson Slip Printer paired with the humble iPad Till using your Wi-Fi Router, you will need to first enable DHCP on your printer. To do this you will need to connect the printer to a PC.
 
Follow the guide below to complete this:

Ensure your PC or laptop is connected to the same WiFi signal that us being created from your in-store WiFi Router.

Once the drivers have downloaded successfully, click Run and accept the prompts that appear to install the EpsonNet Config drivers onto your PC or laptop.
 
Connect your Epson printer to your WiFi Router using an ethernet cable. Plug your Epson printer into a power point and switch it on.
 
 
 
 
Once your printer is on and plugged into your WiFi router, navigate to and click on the Start Button in the bottom left hand corner of your PC or laptop. Search for the EpsonNet file followed by clicking on the EpsonNet Config V4 File, finally, double click on the EpsonNet Config file.
 
Please be sure to wait a few minutes whilst EpsonNet picks up your printer.

If it does not appear after a . few minutes, ensure your printer is on and the ethernet cable is plugged in correctly and click "Refresh"
 

Once EpsonNet picks up your printer, click on the printer line (highlighting the printer) and then navigate to and click on the Configuration Tab.
 
 
On the left of your screen, navigate to TCP/IP and click on the option Basic.

Click on Automatic and make sure that there is a tick next to Set using Automatic Private IP Addressing (APIPA). Follow that by clicking on Transmit on the bottom of the page.
 
 

9. You will be prompted by a pop up screen to ensure that the printer is in an idle state. Navigate to and click on OK.
 

 
 
10. The new settings will be transmitted to your printer. Once it shows 100% click on OK.
 
 
 
 
11. Once complete, click on Refresh and your printer will now show as having an IP Address - Please take note of the new IP Address from your Printer.
